In-home vaccination is available to all Chicago households and anyone 6 months and up is eligible to receive a vaccine. Up to 10 people can be vaccinated at a time, so Chicagoans can invite family, friends, or neighbors to their home to be vaccinated together.

As of today, May 11, 2023, the COVID-19 Public Health Emergency has ended, and a physician's order verifying medical need is once again necessary to ensure health insurance coverage.

When dealing with multiple cases of COVID-19 or another respiratory infection, Skilled Nursing and Assisted Living facilities should have an outbreak response plan established to reduce the risk of additional resident hospitalizations and deaths.
