Welcome our new Care Coordinator to the Team!!

I’m so excited to be joining the team as the BPD Care Coordinator! My name is Dana and I have been a NICU nurse for 19 years. I’ve always loved caring for babies and helping families navigate through this time in their lives.

Outside of work, I love spending time with my niece and nephews! I enjoy traveling, hiking, working out and baking. You’ll always catch me with a coffee.. or two!

After an incredible 6 years at Lurie Children’s Hospital, my husband and I will be starting a new chapter as we embark upon an extended sabbatical based in the Costa del Sol, Spain. We're pursuing this hiatus to slow down, live with intentionality, and to take time to recharge, reflect, and explore (and learn Spanish!) I’m extremely grateful to all the amazing people I’ve worked with at Lurie, especially those on the BPD team.

Over the past 3.5 years, I have had the pleasure of working with the BPD team in the NICU as the care coordinator. This role has been extremely rewarding and fulfilling as I’ve had the privilege of getting to know and help many of the families we have cared for over the years. It was truly a pleasure to work with all of you and I thank you from the bottom of my heart. I have greatly enjoyed being a part of your NICU journeys and watching these kids thrive.
