A little about me – I currently live in San Diego, California but I grew up in the City of Chicago…sunny California is much different than Chicago but it’s been good to me.
I got my under graduate degree in Psychology and Neuroscience and am currently enrolled at Northwestern University and attempting to get my Master’s Degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling.
I also have experience in business, content marketing, and SEO (one of my passions is helping brands get their voice out there.)
When I’m not working and going to school, I love hanging out with my ten year old German Shepard. I am also attempting to get my personal training NASM certification but ya girl can only do so much with the limited brain cells she has left.
I have been a competitive boxer and Martial Artist for the better part of the last decade but now I stick to just training because I honestly don’t have the drive to be punched in the face as much any more.
Besides all of that, I started this blog to combine two long time passions that I have: mental health/self-care and writing. I’m hoping that this platform (and Instagram and everything else since it is 2019…) can reach people and that I can help individuals everywhere live their best life.
We only got one life people – let’s make it a good one!
