February 7 is National Black HIV/AIDS Awareness Day and this year’s focus is clear: Improving Access to Prevention & Care for Health Equity.  

Access is everything: access to testing, access to PrEP, access to treatment, and access to care that’s respectful, culturally competent, and stigma-free.  

✅ Get tested.
✅ Talk to a provider about PrEP (it can reduce HIV risk from s*x by ~99% when taken as prescribed).  
✅ If you’re living with HIV: treatment works: undetectable = untransmittable (U=U).
