From student to doctor to clinic owner, Dr. Hal De Longchamp’s journey shows the power of hands-on learning at PCHS. Before discovering PCHS, acupuncture was just a concept to him, but that changed the day a classroom treatment relieved his chronic migraines. ​

After earning his doctorate from PCHS, Dr. Hal launched YOUniverse Acupuncture, a modern private practice in Manhattan, where he provides Acupuncture treatments and customized herbal supplements for his patients. He credits part of his success to the expertise of PCHS's immersive training at the on-campus clinic and the sense of community. ​

Spring in Chinese medicine is a time of rising energy and renewal. 🌱It’s ruled by the Wood element, representing movement, vision, growth, and new beginnings. This is the season to stretch toward what’s next, clear stagnation, and allow your energy to circulate freely.​

Spring carries a dynamic power—encouraging intentional action and gentle expansion as the dreams cultivated during winter begin to take shape. When we align with the rhythm of this season, we often experience clarity, motivation, and a renewed sense of direction. When we resist this natural upward energy, we may feel frustration, tension, or imbalance associated with the liver and gallbladder. ​
