This is 45. Another birthday, another circle around the sun. It sounds cliche, but the older you get, the faster the years really do fly by. The past year was definitely the hardest of my life thus far & I will say that it tested me in ways, I’ve never known. However, I will say that I’m really proud of the person it brought out in me. The past year may have been full of a lot of darkness, but a lot of good things happened too, which you can’t fully appreciate without the life lessons. Life continues on and if we are lucky, so do we.

I hope this next year is quiet and slow, full of more happy moments than sad ones. My biggest takeaway of the past year is to tell your loved ones how much they mean to you and if you have questions, ASK. Give that same love to your fur babies too because they are your family. Just try to live this life with no regrets. These are the moments that really matter.

A few days ago I shared a story about the Go Fund Me I started for my parents.
