Polycystic Ovarian Syndrome (PCOS) affects roughly 8 to 13% of women of reproductive age, yet many remain undiagnosed. It presents differently for everyone, but some common symptoms include irregular periods, acne, hair loss, and excess hair growth (like on the chin and abdomen).

One of the most common underlying causes of PCOS is insulin resistance, or when the body struggles to process carbohydrates efficiently. Here's the good news: Nutrition and lifestyle changes can have a major impact on symptom management! 🌿💪
