Golden Hour is blessed to have these two committed, kind Loyola students on Wednesdays and Fridays to assist you all and the practitioners.
Slide 2 Tori hails from Texas and is a Philosophy major, minoring in Climate Action & Leadership. With classes like The Philosophy of Revolution and Intro to Circular Economy on her schedule this term, we just know she is developing an ingenious way of visioning challenges and outcomes.
Slide 3 Shanti comes to Chicago from California and is a Public Health major with an emphasis on methods. And she’s a dancer too! We’re so glad she’s back from Italy and lending the clinic her sharp eye for detail and compassionate way.

Well, here we are again. AQI has ranged from 155-135 in Chicago today. We’re supporting our Lungs with herbs, tea, herbal steam inhalations and extra Vitamin C. We’re changing and cleaning the filters on our air purifiers. We’re educating ourselves intellectually and emotionally about climate change. Golden Hour Acupuncture is thrilled to be hosting Ann Cecil-Sterman in Chicago this Fall for a class on the art of pulse diagnosis. In terms of clinical relevance, it’s a game changer. Just as noteworthy, it is not uncommon for people who are not acupuncturists or students of acupuncture to study with Ann. More than a few have taken this pulse class - the relevance extends beyond the treatment room. Class is November 4-5th at City Garden Waldorf School, in Pilsen. Class size is limited to 32, payment plans are available and it provides 13.5 CEUs through NCCAOM.

Beginning Monday, April 24th we will no longer require masks in the clinic. It’s been over three years of living with Covid - wild huh? We are feeling secure about this decision however, we reserve the right to reinstate a mask policy should the landscape change. We will still have masks on hand if you would like one and we will ask that you wear one if you are presenting with a cold or flu (it makes so much sense now lol!). You may see practitioners or other clients wearing masks - let’s all respect each other’s different requirements for safety.
