🤗Hey! For those of you who are new to Giv Shoppe, I’d like to introduce myself! My name is Lauren Lopriore, full time mom to two beautiful children, wife to a witty and supportive Islander, breast cancer thriver, growing entrepreneur, nature lover, safe sun worshipper, kid at heart and I just added author to my title!
🩷Diagnosed with breast cancer at 29, I knew first hand how hard it was to find consistent care and emotional support in survivorship. Not only is support and care important throughout treatment, but it’s just as crucial as we enter into survivorship. I may have looked physically well but I was wounded mentally and emotionally.
🎁I started to explore and discover cancer survivor small businesses supporting patients and being asked how patients can be supported after a diagnosis. After connecting with the amazing founders and educating myself with classes, I launched - a wellness store where every purchase feels like a gift: to yourself, to someone you love and to the community. Give Good.Feel Good. Giving back to the cancer and mental health communities is something we focus on with monetary and gift donations!
🤭I try, taste, touch, wear everything that is in Giv! If the ingredients or materials don’t follow the vision I have for the shoppe then as much as I love the smell I search for another item that is natural, clean and makes me feel good!
🎀 Before came - a supportive hub for health, wellness and light from wellness guidance and support programs. Everything we create is designed to bring comfort, inspire resilience and create space for healing and self care.
🧘♀️I am dedicated to giving strength and hope to those impacted by breast cancer as an Mentor and Board 39 (NM hospital) board member.
🏄♀️ In addition to being an advocate for breast health and self care, I enjoy traveling, volunteering, playing piano and guitar, being in nature, experiencing new adventures, having dance parties and spending time with my family. I also am a part of the Share Our Spare community council.
🏡I live in a suburb of Chicago with my husband, daughter, Matilda and son, Milo.
