What a question 😅 Lucky for her she wasn’t able to ask me 20 years ago- she got a much better answer now than she would have then.
It took me about 4 seconds to realize she wasn’t actually asking about the size of my thighs. She can see them. She knows exactly what they look like. I think she was really asking me- “how do you feel about the size of your thighs? are they the size they’re supposed to be?”
I rolled up my sleeves and stood on my pedestal and delivered a speech that she for sure won’t remember, but I hope the general message stays with her.
“I’m sure my thighs are bigger than some, they’re probably smaller than some. Every body is different. I’m really thankful I have strong legs so I can be walking with you right now and that we can run around and play together. I’m trying to take care of them so I can do that for a long time.”
I asked her if she was happy with her strong legs, too.
She is. 💗
