Late night/early morning thoughts 💭:

As I look back over the last year, my heart is overwhelmed with gratitude. In April 2025, I was informed that I was rejecting “Chip”, my transmission in my truck went out and some of my interpersonal relationships were being challenged. I instantly went into “why, me?”- mode and that activated a lot of self doubt, pity and sheer disappointment. But God‼️I remember feeling alone and isolated (not wanting to trauma dump). But, I remembered a sermon title that my donor/Pastor preached a while ago, “it’s in the house”. The same house that I felt was spiritually drowning, had the resources I needed to use to help remove the damage. I had to remember that I was not the problem solver, but I knew who was; I had to realize that I was healed by His stripes, not mine; I had to understand that I couldn’t believe in the words of my medical team without believing in The Word of God. I was hurt and I cried during that time, but the answer dwelled within me — I just had to trust, lean and depend on Him 👆🏾

This literally saved my life, “I SOUGHT the Lord, He heard me AND He answered”🫶🏾 No matter what you’re going through “Seek Him”; I have never seen Him fail nor has He ever left me alone. “To God Be the Glory” 🙌🏾🙌🏾🙌🏾

I learned how to fight in 2025… not with my fist 👊🏾 BUT with my prayers and posture. “Chip” and I were on a rollercoaster 🎢 for most of the year, BUT GOD🙌🏾 I’m grateful for all that He’s done ✅ and I wait in patience for the Wonderful Works He’s yet to display for 2026. This is FAITH 💚
