I have spent an extensive amount of time working with patients struggling with depression; and other mood disorders, trauma, life-stage issues, social anxiety, generalized anxiety, other anxiety disorders, intellectual disabilities, and various personality disorders. I have also had dedicated experience working with LGBTQIA+ communities that are influenced by cultural and religious values. I strive to instill trust and curiosity in my clients through honesty and empathy. I utilize psychodynamic psychotherapy, CBT, ACT, and other therapeutic approaches to achieve treatment goals that are tailored to the client's needs. I value a client-centered approach – the belief that every client is unique and has had subjective experiences. I believe that clients must be understood using the lenses of their own lives and so I work with clients at their own pace to encourage and support vulnerability and growth.
