🚨 We need your voice! Protect 340B = Protect Patients.
Drug companies are limiting access to 340B meds, raising costs for patients and cutting resources from Illinois hospitals and health centers like Sinai Chicago.
Help us Protect 340B in Illinois! Your voice matters. Contact your legislators today:
We urge our State Representatives to make 340B protections a priority when they return to Springfield.

More than 500 people came together on a cold Sunday afternoon on February 1st in a former Walgreen’s pharmacy on Chicago’s West Side to stand up for the 340B Drug Pricing Program, a lifeline that directly supports our ability to care for patients who depend on us most. It was an impressive example that our most powerful impact comes from working in unity to protect, promote and ensure the care and access our communities need.
Thanks to everyone for truly showed up and showed out -- sending a clear message to our legislators in Springfield to Vote YES on HB2371 SA2 NOW because 340B saves lives, and our communities cannot afford to lose it. We can’t wait to celebrate when HB 2371/SA2 gets over the finish line this spring.
Thank you to the event organizers from Lawndale Christian Health Center, Access Community Health Network, IPHCA and IHA and the Sinai team who worked so hard to put this all together. Thank you to all of our Sinai leaders, board members, caregivers and patients who made time to come out and show support yesterday. And BIG thanks to our elected officials who came out to show their support yesterday including House Bill Sponsor Rep. Anna Moeller, Rep. LeShawn Ford, Rep. Theresa Mah, State Senator Lakesia Collins and Congressman Danny Davis!
We’re stronger together than we are apart. Or, as the African proverb says, “If you want to go fast, go alone. If you want to go far, go together.”
There’s still miles to go on this journey, but such UNITY and PURPOSE show what’s possible. Let’s get it done!!

🌟 Honoring Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. 🌟
Today, we pause to remember Dr. King’s unshakable belief that even in challenging moments, communities can rise stronger. Especially when we choose unity over division. Dr. King’s words remind us that “only in the darkness can you see the stars.” His vision encourages us to keep pushing toward a future where every community has access to the care and equity it deserves.
May we continue to look for those stars in one another: in our conversations, in our acts of service, and in the way we show up for our neighbors.
