Silent Torn

You made me fall with gentle lies,
A spark that lit my guarded skies,
But now you treat me far away,
Close enough to feel yet feel betrayed.
You hold your past like a secret grace,
Ex and all within your space,
Hurting me’s a silent art
Yet still I long to stay to part.
But love’s a fragile, fleeting flame
And I must learn to play the game,
To walk away, though it hurts so deep
To save my heart from wounds too steep.
