It's my belief that people have answers within them, they oftentimes just haven't been asked the right questions that make the answers they have make a little more sense. Maybe therapy is less about one person knowing the answers and more about an agreement to explore things we typically wouldn't consider: and ask and sit with questions that can make us feel uncomfortable. This is what my therapy looks like and this is what therapy with me as a clinician is in essence. I could totally rattle off my understandings of clinical theory(which can be helpful) and call it helping folks, but thats not my style. I'd rather connect and be curious. I hope you're open to that. I want to use this space to consider some questions, concepts, ideas, frustrations, and concerns my work leaves me with and hopefully they help you as much as they help me.
