🌟 Huge thank you to Megan and Leslee from Our Aging Services!

They spent the afternoon with our team presenting “Medical Complexities Beyond the Clinic,” sharing what it’s like to raise a child with complex medical needs and how families can access transition services and community supports. 💙

Our Aging Services does incredible work advocating for both seniors and adolescents with developmental disabilities — from helping families navigate disability benefits and long-term care to connecting them with the right resources.

We’re so grateful for the work they do every day to break down barriers and build inclusion. 🙌

🌟 Meet Ella, Our New Insurance Support Specialist! 🌟

We’re excited to welcome Ella to the SensAble Kids team! 🎉 Ella works remotely to help with insurance claims and authorizations, making sure everything runs smoothly behind the scenes so our families & team can focus on what matters most-the children! 💙

👋 About Ella:
Ella holds a Bachelor’s degree in Nutrition and Dietetics from the Polytechnic University of the Philippines and has been supporting U.S. clinics since 2020 as a Medical Virtual Assistant. She brings years of experience helping providers and patients with everything from patient intakes to prior authorizations and claims—and she loves making a positive difference, even from afar.
➡️ Even though it’s only been a few weeks, Ella is already making a big impact on our team with her efficiency, kindness, and dedication. 💪✨

✨ Fun Facts:
When she’s not keeping insurance tasks on track, Ella is a proud fur mom to five dogs and two cats 🐶🐱, a binge-watching pro (The Big Bang Theory, F.R.I.E.N.D.S., and Wednesday on repeat!), and enjoys café-hopping, crocheting, and cycling.

🌟 Meet Risky! 🌟

Risky is a first-generation immigrant who grew up in Chicago and has always had a passion for helping children thrive.

She earned her Bachelor of Science in Psychology from the University of Illinois Chicago and went on to complete her Master of Occupational Therapy at North Central College.

Her love for working with kids began back in high school, where she volunteered in a literacy program for young children. That experience sparked a lifelong commitment to supporting and empowering children.

With experience working across all age groups, pediatrics remains her true calling. Risky is dedicated to making a positive impact on the lives of the children she works with every day. 🙌
