At CFKids we can foster a spirit of community in our young people where movement is only associated with fun with friends.

CrossFit Six Points isn’t just for adults who want to live longer. It’s for kids who want to enjoy fitness, move better, go faster and build their confidence in a positive group setting.

Who doesn’t love an obstacle course? These kids could have run this ten more times.

What was your first impression of CrossFit?

My first impression of CrossFit was that it was not for me! I had a few friends who were members of CrossFit gyms over the years, and I never saw myself as someone who enjoyed weightlifting in any capacity. About 10 years ago I had one friend in particular who finally convinced me to walk through the doors of my first gym, and it’s been part of my life since. 

How has that impression changed?

Coaches and gym members have been a huge part of changing that impression for me. CrossFit always seemed like something that only really fit people did, and also I honestly struggled with the financial investment (broke graduate student here!). I’ve made friends with people through CrossFit of all walks of life, and I can honestly say that I am a much healthier and more active person because of my involvement in CrossFit than I had ever been previously. My coaches have also always been so encouraging and helpful with scaling/modifications — and with giving me the extra push when I’m underselling my abilities!

What has been your favorite accomplishment or PR you have achieved this year?

This year I’m most proud that I continue to pack gym clothes on work trips to get in some movement in hotel gyms (something that I’d always previously struggled with). It’s not easy to stay consistent and motivated while on the road so regularly, but I’ve made some good progress.

Emily has been with us since we opened, and despite her active travel schedule she has made fitness a staple in her life. Emily is a genuine and kind person who takes interest in her fellow athletes, and is a great ambassador to our gym.

500 Classes - Brandon Hess

Brandon recently achieved 500 classes at CFSP, and has been a staple in our community since the very beginning.

Brandon excels at running, heavy deadlifts, double unders and is an avid country music fan. Soft spoken at first, he is quick witted and has a great smile and beloved amongst his friends.

Brandon began his CrossFit career long before our gym opened, along with a background in soccer. He still plays recreationally (but will not tell us where to preserve his anonymity)

Whether it’s in the evenings or morning classes, we love seeing Brandon and know his first stop will probably be to snag some candy to fuel up for his workout.

Congrats, Hess! We love having you at the gym.

Thanks to everyone who came to support Matt Wilson and his family at our fundraiser today.

We had a packed gym with members, friends and family to complete Matt’s workout of 6 Cleans, 20 Pull-Ups and 25 Burpees.

It was a great turnout and you can STILL donate to Matt’s Go Fund Me.

October 25th - Matt Wilson Fundraiser Workout and Stem Cell Donor Drive

6 Cleans - 20 Pull Ups - 25 Burpees

This workout can be complete solo or with a partner.

Matt was diagnosed with AML on 6/20/25 and has continued to fight with resilience. We will complete this workout in his honor and scale for anyone who wants to be a part of it!

This will be a special fundraising event open to our entire CrossFit community and beyond to continue to raise funds for Matt and his family as he navigates his diagnosis of Acute Myeloid Leukemia.

We will complete this workout from 9am-12pm, time slots will be distributed upon registration!
