Today I completed 1 full year of walking at least 1 mile daily. I call these my sunshine walks because they light up my life.

What started out as a goal to complete walking 1 mile daily for 40 days in a row has turned into so much more.

I set out to find my pathway to peace with a focus on walking with the sunshine. I have learned so much about myself over the past year.

I’ve made it my top priority to have peace in my life and love in my heart.

I have walked in the rain, sun, snow, indoor, outdoor, or whatever it took to get my walk done daily. It has been the single most important thing I’ve ever done for my health & wellness in my opinion. I feel like I’m a better mom & wife because this daily habit helps me manage my stress tremendously.

I have learned how to pray & meditate more fully during my walks and most of all I’ve learned to love & care for myself unconditionally- the way I should have always done for myself, but didn’t.

I’m so grateful for my feet & legs that take me on this journey towards peace. I’m going to continue walking and increase my mileage more consistently.

If you are looking for your pathway to peace, I highly recommend this. I treasure my walking time and I feel better everyday physically, emotionally, & spiritually.
