I overheard a girl at the gym the other day tell her trainer she didn’t want to look and sound like a man from lifting. Women do not have the testosterone to become bulky.
We start losing muscle mass after the age of 30years old. Weight training helps prevent osteoporosis by making your bones strong so when you do fall, the injury won’t be so severe and the recovery time is much quicker. Not to mention it helps keep your brain sharp.
It’s the ultimate stress relieving activity. You can take your anger out slamming a medicine ball to the ground. So therapeutic.
