We were honored to welcome Congresswoman Delia Ramirez to our Albany Park clinic this week.
Together, we discussed the current political landscape, the on-going government shutdown, and looming Medicaid cuts—and what these challenges mean for Tapestry 360 Health and the patients and families we serve every day. We also shared the real-life impact of ICE presence on our patients, many of whom live in fear and are hesitant to leave their homes.
At the heart of our conversation was the 340B Drug Pricing Program, which is currently at risk—a true lifeline for community health. The 340B program allows us to provide affordable medications, mental health care, and wraparound services to thousands of patients every year. It ensures that individuals and families can continue to access the care and resources they need, even amid political and economic uncertainty. Without it, essential health services—and the wellbeing of our most vulnerable patients— are in jeopardy.
Conversations like these remind us that progress begins with partnership. Together, we can protect the programs that protect our patients and build a future where access to care is not a privilege—but a promise.
Thank you, Congresswoman Ramirez, for listening, learning, and standing with us as we continue delivering quality, compassionate care during these challenging times.
