10/29/24 The grapevine and the wisteria in the backyard vie for the light's attention. They twist and turn over the trellis. They wait for the other to let go. The grape vine's leaves turn yellow right before they drop. The wisteria is wrapped around its delicately strong brambles. They are intertwined refusing to give up their supremacy. They don't remember when they were free from each other searching for more light. Despite their efforts the only one remaining will be the rusty metal chimes that continue to sing long into winter.

Covid revisited. I tested positive for a week. It was only just yesterday that I tested negative. I need to wait until tomorrow to test again and swab the inner workings of my sinuses. 10/10/24 I haven’t heard from the Jonis in a few weeks. I experienced a summer long of people who said they were Joni Mitchell. Maybe they have given up on trying to be my friend or me being their fan. In the last scam one of the jonis offered me one million dollars. I just needed to authorize it. Her manager sent me a pic of the big check with normal looking people holding it....
