Chicago Asthma Consortium is the only local coalition dedicated to improving the lives of those with asthma in the Chicago area.

Chicago Asthma Consortium is a coalition of medical and public health professionals, business leaders, government agencies, community organizations and individuals dedicated to improving the quality of life for people with asthma through advocacy, education and collaboration. It is one of the largest and oldest asthma coalitions in the country.

Our goal is to support the Board of Directors through meaningful policy work, advocacy, and storytelling. Together, we will:

✅ Monitor and share local, state, and federal policy opportunities related to asthma and lung health
✅ Collect and elevate patient, family, and provider stories to inform and influence policy
✅ Provide education and training to strengthen advocacy skills within our community
✅ Recommend impactful policy and advocacy actions to the Board for approval and action
