The Center for Asthma and Allergy (www.thomasallergy.com) is an allergy practice that has been serving the Chicagoland area for over 30 years. We have 3 locations Portage Park (4014 N. Central Ave), Wicker Park (2222 W. Division suite 210) and Mount Prospect (520 E Northwest Highway).
The practice was founded by Dr. Dolly Thomas, a board-certified specialist in Pediatrics and Allergy/Immunology. She focuses on empowering patients to be able to manage their own disease at home, partnering my patients’ to achieve control of their disease. Her interests are in asthma, allergic rhinitis, food allergy and allergic skin conditions.

Dr. Dolly Thomas’s son, Alex Thomas, MD. is a a board-certified specialist in Pediatrics and Allergy/Immunology who joined the practice in 2014. Growing up watching his mom help so many of her patients inspired him to follow in mother’s foot steps to pursue a career in Allergy and Immunology. After several years in practice at the University of Wisconsin-Madison, he returned to the Chicagoland area to join his mother’s practice.
Dr. Alex has a particular interest in patient education and creates educational materials for patients and families (www.iggyandtheinhalers.com). His other interests are in asthma, allergic rhinitis, food allergy, contact dermatitis and chronic hives.
