Biker found Golden Retriever chained to the bridge at 3 AM with a note that said \"I can\'t afford to put her down. Please don\'t let her suffer.\" The dog was maybe eight years old. Tumor the size of a softball on her belly. Barely breathing. Someone had left water and her favorite toy, a stuffed duck that was worn from years of love. But it was the second note in the collar that changed everything. I\'d stopped to check my bike when I heard whimpering. Years of riding, never seen anything like it. This beautiful dog, dying, abandoned, but still wagging her tail when she saw me. The collar had two notes. The first about putting her down. The second was different. Child\'s handwriting. Crayon on notebook paper. \"Please save Daisy. She\'s all I have left. Daddy says she has to die but I know angels ride motorcycles. I prayed you\'d find her. There\'s $7.43 in her collar. WOMAN RUINED 8-HOUR FLIGHT FOR ALL PASSENGERS – AFTER THE FLIGHT, THE CAPTAIN DECIDED TO PUT HER IN HER PLACE HIMSELF It was a long flight after my swimming competition, and I had only one wish — to put a mask over my eyes and fall asleep. Right? Nope!Ever since we took off, I knew I'd have issues with the lady on my left (aisle seat).She was ringing the flight attendant button like there was a fire in our aisle and complaining non-stop about how both of us (the girl in the window seat and I) should be moved because we had "taken her place."Then, aisle Greta stood up and demanded that someone switch seats with her because "it's not fair she has to sit with two fat people" (I'm just tall) when she paid the same amount for her seat as we did for ours, and we were apparently "taking over" hers. That didn't work for her, so she spent the whole flight kicking my arm and leg while I prayed for it to end faster.When we landed, she unbuckled and darted to the front of the plane to get off first. I was flying from Chicago to Seattle, exhausted and needing to eat soon — I have Type 1 diabetes. As I unwrapped a protein bar, the woman next to me hissed, "Can you not? Our son is sensitive."The kid — around 9 — wasn't disabled, just loud and bratty and sat with arms crossed. I sighed and put the snack away, planning to wait for the cart.When the attendant came, I asked for a Coke and snack box — but the dad jumped in: "NO FOOD OR DRINKS FOR THIS ROW."I hit the call button.He snapped, "Our son can't handle others eating. Be decent and skip the snack, yeah?"Then the mom leaned over me: "SHE'LL HAVE NOTHING, THANKS."I was already LIVID.
