Your local Chicago board-certified dermatologist wants to remind you: sunscreen isn’t optional.

Whether you’re at the beach, running errands, or just sitting by a window—UV rays are always around, and protecting your skin is essential year-round.

🔍 Not sure which sunscreen to choose?
Here’s the difference:

🧱 Mineral (Physical) Sunscreens: Use zinc oxide or titanium dioxide to form a barrier that reflects UV rays. Great for sensitive skin and work immediately after application.
🧪 Chemical Sunscreens: Absorb UV rays and convert them into heat. They’re lightweight and often invisible, but require 15–30 minutes before sun exposure.

We do not have any physician assistants - everyone is seen by the doctor. Our staff of highly trained medical assistants and nurses are patient-focused and help address any concerns. Our aim is to ensure that all patient questions and concerns are fully addressed.
