On January 13, 1913, 22 young women at Howard University united with courage, conviction, and commitment to form Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Incorporated.

On the sixth day of Kwanzaa, Kuumba (creativity) we celebrate the imaginations of our chapter members. Nearly 75 gathered for a day of art therapy where we made blankets that were then shared with area hospitals, painted self-portraits, and enjoyed an afternoon of fellowship and relaxation with sisters of all ages.
