Certain foods should be limited or eliminated from children’s diets because they can negatively impact their growth, health, and behavior. Here are key examples:
• Sugary drinks (soda, energy drinks, sugary juices): They contribute to obesity, tooth decay, and an increased risk of type 2 diabetes.
• Highly processed foods (chips, packaged snacks, instant noodles): These are often high in unhealthy fats, salt, and additives, and low in nutrients children need for development.
• Artificial sweeteners: While calorie-free, some studies suggest artificial sweeteners can disrupt metabolism and encourage a preference for overly sweet foods.
• Trans fats (found in some fast food, baked goods, margarine): Trans fats raise “bad” cholesterol and lower “good” cholesterol, increasing the risk of heart disease later in life.

Hello my name is Rina Tang, I am a Certifiied Integrative Nutrition Wellness Coach through the Institute of Integrative Nutrition and the Owner of from Roots To Juice, Llc.

The main reason of why I created From Roots To Juice is to provide healthy food products through juicing, smoothies, salads and other whole food items. This has been brought upon my need to become a well person n addition to witnessing many loved ones including friends and celebrities that have passed on or are currently sick from a disease that could have possibly been prevented through proper nutrition and food choices. Granted there are environmental situations that can cause various illnesses. I consider FRTJ as a SELF-HELP company. Meaning, it is up to you to be self-reliant in helping yourself. Do all that is within your power to help YOURSELF through proper food selection to become well again.

Realizing the healing power of fruit, roots and veggies has humbled me to say that in conjunction with doctors orders, it is through juicing, proper diet and , consistantly flooding the system with natural foods from the earth that are highly dense with vitamins and minerals has assisted in bringing back my younger sister back to better health after being diagnosed with breast cancer a few years ago. To the Oncologist amazment her recovery was unexpectantly swift.
