Jisela Caban, LCSW Psychotherapy and Consultation

Jisela Caban, LCSW Psychotherapy and Consultation I am a Licensed Psychotherapist practicing in the Chicago area who is committed to helping clients attain change. Psychological struggles can feel so isolating.

Psychotherapy is a powerful method for restoring wellness and facilitating both short-term and enduring changes. I utilize a collaborative approach with my clients, which provides them with a non-judgmental and compassionate safe space to feel empowered to take action and change. I help foster insights into your distress, helping translate these discoveries into an improved quality of life. I want to partner with you to create a treatment plan that encompasses the very idea of wellness in all of the facets of your life that matter most to you. I have extensive experience working with children, adolescents, adults, couples and family treating anxiety, depression, anger management, sexual trauma and life transitions. Additionally, I offer assistance with the IEP process and teach specialized parenting skills. I am happy to answer any of your questions to help decide if my practice could be beneficial to you.

πŸ“£ Exciting News! πŸ§ πŸ’™
I’m happy to share that I am now officially accepting Aetna insurance for therapy services!

Making mental health care more accessible is so important to me, and I’m thrilled to be able to offer more options for those seeking support. If you or someone you know has Aetna and is looking for a safe, compassionate space to heal, grow, and be heard, I’d be honored to connect.

Feel free to reach out with any questions or to schedule a session.
Let’s keep doing the work, together. πŸ’¬βœ¨

Ladies and gentlemen!!!! My private practice is officially an LLC!!! My private practice has been open for 8 years!!! I am amazed at the personal and professional growth that I've experienced. I've learned valuable lessons about leadership, boundaries, and business. It has always been my dream to own my practice and someday my own mental health clinic. I love that I am able to provide a safe and comfortable place for people to be heard, seen, and understood. I strive to take away the stigma still often associated with mental health and self-care. I feel blessed that I get to do what I’m so passionate about, which is helping others to be their best selves

Special thanks to Family for supporting me!

As long as we carry unresolved trauma, we carry into the present defensive movements and emotional responses that belong to past traumatic events. With a therapist you can finally process your trauma in a safe environment and begin to move forward.

Love languages are the ways people show and receive love. For example, one person might feel loved when their partner prioritizes spending time together. However, another person might not need a lot of time with their partner. Instead, they want to hear β€œI love you” and other words of affirmation.

In therapy, love languages are a great way to prompt a positive conversation between partners. Use love languages to explore the ways people express their love, and how those messages are received.

Relationships can be hard. Talk about in therapyοΏΌ.
