Sleeping in darkness is essential to a good nights sleep. Light during sleep hours suppresses melatonin. Your room should be dark enough so you can not see your hand in front of you.

Sleep tip:
Black out your bedroom. You can use black out curtains for the windows. Have your alarm clock face the wall or cover it with something.

If you are on your phone,tablet or computer within an hour and half of your sleep time, you need to be aware of how the "blue light" on your device effects your sleep. If you are not aware I HIGHLY suggest you do some research on that.

Sleep tip:
Change the setting to "low light" on your IPhone/IPad. Doing this will reduce the blue light up to 50%.

1. Go to Settings > General > Accessibility > Zoom
2. Turn on Zoom
3. Using three fingers, quickly tap three times anywhere on the iPhone or iPad’s screen.
4. Tap on Choose Filter
5. Select Low Light
