Hosting gets a lot easier when you stop trying to make it perfect.

✅Feed people something they can eat.
✅Give them a drink when they walk in.
✅Accept that you don't need a perfect set tup

That’s kind of the whole system!

I’ve been hosting Shabbat (and honestly everything else) long enough to know it doesn’t need to be complicated to feel good.

If you want the full breakdown - how I plan menus, what I actually cook, and the little things that make it all run smoother - it’s all on my Substack, Little Bites 💌 Link in bio!

Shabbat hosting isn't meant to be perfect!

Once the candles are lit, the wine poured, and challah torn, it turns into exactly what it was supposed to be.

If you’re new to hosting (or just trying to make it feel easier), I share all my actual systems, menus, and “don’t do what I did” moments over on my Substack, Little Bites 💌 Link in bio!

This is for the people who come to the table, who feel like a village, and for friends who stay past bedtime and take leftovers home.

This is my rich.

The food just happens to be how I get everyone there 💛

Every Passover has at least one little oopsie.

Something will burn, your brisket will be dry, and your soup? Not salty enough or TOO salty.

If last week was your first time hosting and there were a few oopsies, you’re *still* doing it right. Truly. But if you want to feel a little more prepared next time (without losing your mind), I’ve got all my hosting tips over on my Substack, Little Bites 💌 Link in bio.

Tell me your biggest hosting oopsie this year! 👀

If you need me, I’ll be making matzo pizza for every meal this Passover. Not just any pizza, but a garlicky pickle pizza piled high with salty pickles and rich mozzarella on top of a crispy Manischewitz.

I like to think I’m subtle about it, but apparently I have… a type 🫣

Clothing with food on it. Small plates. Something pickled. A table that’s a little too full. A messy kitchen, and being in my Bubbe era.

Anyway, if you’ve ever looked around your kitchen and realized you’ve built your personality around this… welcome, you’re in good company! 💛
