Our April Kids Making Headlines is Jaeden!

Jaeden has been making great progress using regulation strategies, especially during movement based activities. He has been excited to engage in playing on the swings and trying out simple obstacle courses.

Out on the playground, Jaeden is showing more confidence climbing and swinging, and is doing an awesome job sharing and taking turns with peers.

Way to go, Jaeden!

In honor of Occupational Therapy Month, we're excited to shine a spotlight on one of our dedicated occupational therapists, Kerry Scafidi MS, OTR/L!

Kerry brings a wide range of experience from working in preschools, outpatient clinics, and hospitals. She has supported children of all ages with diverse needs, including autism, ADHD, cerebral palsy, and developmental delays.

Her passion shines through in everything she does. As Kerry shares, “I love teaming up with families, bringing creativity to therapy, and helping children grow, play, and reach their goals with confidence and joy!”

We're so grateful for the passion, care, and expertise Kerry brings, and are so lucky to have her on our team.

A stress-free way to improve your child’s sleep is to limit screens before bedtime. Bright light from TVs, tablets, and phones can make it harder for little ones to feel sleepy and settle down.

Try turning off screens at least 30 to 60 minutes before bed and replacing that time with calming activities like reading a book, listening to soft music, or talking about the day. This helps your child’s brain transition from playtime to rest time.

Did you know that March is Reading Awareness Month? 📚

Reading with your child is one of the simplest and most meaningful ways to connect while building language skills and a lifelong love of books. Just a few minutes of reading each day can make a big impact.

Three books we love (especially for bedtime) are Llama Llama Red Pajama, The Rainbow Fish, and Chicka Chicka Boom Boom. These favorites encourage imagination, teach valuable lessons, and make storytime fun for little readers.
