Featured therapist, Mia, shared a tip that can help your little ones practice balancing. She shared, “Single leg balance activities are important for the whole family to do! I love to encourage parents to complete “feet high fives” with their children as a fun alternative to a typical high five. You lift your foot from the ground and have your child gently tap the bottom of their lifted foot to yours. Don’t forget to do both sides!”

One game we love is Go Fish! Play a round with your child and have them ask for specific cards. For example, you could ask, “Do you have any sevens?” Then, when they find a match, celebrate collecting a set together. You can guide them to say the number out loud or count how many cards are in their hand. This simple activity supports number recognition, memory, and counting skills while keeping family time fun and lighthearted. https://amzn.to/4niobrq

Squish it, roll it, shape it, play… it's time to celebrate National Play-Doh Day!

Today is the perfect time to bring out the colors and let your family’s imagination shine. Encourage your kids to sculpt animals, shapes, or even little scenes. Every roll, press, and squeeze helps build fine motor skills, sparks creativity, and can lead to fun storytelling together.

Teddy bears are more than just plush toys—they're trusted friends, a source of comfort, and are wonderful for sparking imagination and creativity.

Here at PTN, one bear holds a very special place in our hearts: our very own Petey N. To mark the occasion, we're sharing a fun surprise—a free printable coloring page featuring Petey N.

Grab your crayons, markers, or colored pencils and enjoy bringing Petey N. to life with your favorite colors. We can't wait to see your creations in honor of National Teddy Bear Day! https://bit.ly/4nh8eBP
