She was treated with chronic daily rifampin and has a history of MAC pneumonia, which was resolved on admission. In addition, she has a history of dermatomyositis, scleroderma, interstitial lung disease, multiple myeloma, hypertension and chronic diastolic heart failure with stage 4 CKD. The FY2026 ICD-10-CM official guidelines https://hubs.la/Q03G6xY_0 for coding and reporting coding are out and include updated language around coding for patients with human immunodeficiency virus (HIV) infections, hypertension/heart disease and antineoplastic chemotherapy.
