Virtual Arm Balance Series, Every Sunday this MAY, 12 PM Central :)
Arm balances have the power to take your practice to new heights, literally. These poses engage the core, shoulders and arms while teaching us focus, trust, patience and resilience. In a vigorous Vinyasa flow practice, it can be difficult for teachers to cue all the nuances of arm balances and often times we just offer options to take them on your own, if you have it in your practice. Well, if its not in your practice and you would like it to be, this is the workshop for you! And, the best part is that you do not have to be a superhero to do them.
This is an all levels workshop where we will begin with a short vinyasa practice focused on building core strength and shoulder stability while also opening up the hips and twists. We will break down the Crow family, Eight Angle Pose, FireFly, Flying Splits and many more.
Variations and drills for each of these poses will be introduced in a safe manner for both the beginner to more advanced practitioner. We will build up from chaturunga up, step by step, as we prepare for flight. This workshop will provide you with tips and tricks to bring to your regular yoga practice in the future.
