We opened our doors 10 Years ago! 7/2/12 was our very first day seeing patients at our lakeshore east location, which was our first UWS clinic. It’s been a wild ride! As the corona virus has made several headlines and caused closings throughout the city, we wanted to send you all a message to let you know that Universal Wellness Source is here for you. At UWS, we DO NOT plan to close our doors during this time of heightened concern, but we DO plan to continue to be here for our patients and our community! We are following the CDC guidelines and will ensure that we, at no time, have 50+ people in our offices at the same time.

What can UWS do for you?? Chiropractic Adjustments are imperative to a properly functioning nervous system and Optimal health. Spinal Adjustments are known to reduce inflammation and BOOST your immune system!! Stress can cause your body to go into a “sympathetic” state – which can really make you susceptible to illness – chiropractic takes your body from Sympathetic to Parasympathetic, which can help protect you from decreased immunity.

Since chiropractic care is so important for a healthy functioning central nervous system, our clinics are taking steps to ensure we can provide a clean and safe environment for you to come and get your immune boosting chiropractic adjustments! Our team is sanitizing all clinic equipment frequently throughout our days and we’re setting out extra bottles of hand sanitizer for team members and patients to use at our offices.

The most important things you can do to ensure you and your family have highly functioning immune systems:
1. Stay on track with your regularly scheduled Chiropractic Adjustments & Therapies – If anything, you could probably use an extra adjustment or two for an extra immune boost.
2. Get adequate rest. Our bodies recharge and heal when we sleep. Adding an extra 30 minutes or so to your normal sleep routine can make a big difference!
3. Go for a walk – sunlight (natural Vitamin D) and exercise are two ways to help increase immunity…and fresh air is always helpful!
4. Supplementation!! You’ll find some links below for some supplements that we stand by.
