Join us in congratulating Gabriele on her new role as a Patient Care Technician at Northwestern Hospital! 🎉💙 Gabriele began her journey with UI Health Volunteer Services in October 2024, and from day one, she showed dedication, compassion, and a true passion for patient care. She successfully completed our Certified Nursing Assistant program in Summer 2025 and most recently contributed almost 150 hours as a Volunteer Services Administrative Intern. As a pre-nursing student preparing to begin nursing school, Gabriele continues to take meaningful and inspiring steps toward a bright future in healthcare. Congratulations, Gabi! We are so proud of you and can’t wait to see all that you accomplish next. 💙✨

We’re looking for compassionate volunteers with certified therapy animals to join our UI Health Volunteer Services team! If you have a therapy dog, we would love for you to join our program. Your visits can make a powerful impact by reducing stress, lifting spirits, and creating meaningful moments for patients, families, and staff.
