🎙️ What’s really at stake with the latest federal budget bill?

In a new podcast, AHA President and CEO Rick Pollack breaks down how the proposed Medicaid cuts could result in 11.8 million Americans losing coverage and what that means for providers on the front lines.

“The magnitude of these cuts cannot merely be dismissed as waste, fraud and abuse,” he explains. “This will impact care for all Americans, not just Medicaid beneficiaries.”

🧠 A must-listen for nurse leaders and health care advocates.

Our hearts are with the individuals, families and communities impacted by the catastrophic flooding across Central Texas. We are profoundly grateful to the first responders and health care workers who continue to work tirelessly, providing their communities with lifesaving care, compassion and support. Even as their own homes and families were at risk, nurses continued working around the clock, from providing critical patient care during evacuations to supporting search and recovery operations.

The Texas Nurses Foundation created a Disaster Relief Fund to assist our nurse colleagues affected by the devastation. All money collected will be distributed directly to nurses living in any one of the Texas counties declared disaster areas. Please consider any assistance you can provide to help Texas nurses and the communities they serve.
