Hi, I’m Brittany

My journey to the healing arts began from self healing. For the majority of my childhood and adolescence I had experienced chronic wide spread musculoskeletal pain, severe migraines, anxiety and depression. I began my education into holistic healing which was the start to my own transformation. I graduated with a degree in Massage Therapy and Asian Bodywork from Pacific College of Health and Science in Chicago where I studied Chinese Medicine, psychology, kinesiology, meditation, both Eastern and Western forms of massage therapy, bodywork, and energetic movement practices. I continued my education at the Thai Massage School in Chiang Mai Thailand and became a Reiki Practitioner through my studies at Zen Shiatsu Chicago. Once discovering the incredible power of the mind/body/spirit connection which allowed me to heal from my own emotional and physical pain, I created Spirit and Matter which encompasses this holistic approach to healing.

Spirit and Matter is an inclusive and intentional practice which centers womxn. A haven to individuals seeking to deepen their self-awareness, self-care practice and their understanding of the mind/body/spirit connection. I am passionate about reintroducing healing touch to survivors of s*xual, physical and emotional trauma and abuse. I wish to help my clients find incredible self love and self acceptance through self care. I am a well-informed, intuitive and compassionate practitioner. I help others discover their healer within through body and energy work and my mission is to create space where my clients may feel the connected embodiment of their spirit and their matter.

Spirit and Matter centers and celebrate womxn and helps to heal the patriarchal impact on the divine feminine in the physical energy body. In my coaching and hands on healing work, I am q***r inclusive, gender fluid inclusive, non-binary inclusive and trans inclusive.
