Creating space for you to feel grounded and supported is the foundation of our partnership.

I have a plethora of bolsters and props to ensure you feel comfortable and able to relax during a bodywork session. You know your body best—and my goal is to ensure you feel as comfortable as possible, as well as safe to advocate for your individual needs during our time together.

Jeff and I have known each other for 15 years, he is one of the most honest, kind and loyal friends in my life. He is always there, and has always been there, for the people in his life. He’s the best to chat and laugh with, and can hold tough conversation from a place of kindness, compassion and care.

All this to preface, I was beyond honored to hold space for Jeff in a bodywork session, as he has so beautifully held for others in similar yet different ways. When I learned about his previous, painful and uncomfortable massage experience—I don’t know if I said it aloud to him, but I definitely felt it in the depths of my heart—“I’ve got you, friend.”

Thank you, Jeff. I appreciate you, and I’m so happy that we’ve always got each other. ❤️❤️❤️

Soothe and Restore Herbal Salve 🌱

Sage flower, nettle leaf and rosehips boast anti-inflammatory, anti-microbial, and anti-oxidant properties to alleviate minor aches and pain, calm irritation, and reduce the appearance of fine lines and scars.

The dried herbs were gifted by .land for the .co Fall Yoga Retreat, and infused for two weeks in sweet almond and avocado oil. The infused oil was then combined with shea butter, beeswax and sweet/earthy essential oils.

This blend helps moisturize and restore a healthy barrier, and is perfect for dry and/or mature skin. A small amount goes a long way, and doubles as a delightful lip balm 💋

Today was my first screening mammogram and ultrasound. I was treated with patience, kindness and compassion. I received peace of mind, same day, no waiting for results.

I am grateful, and at the same time recognize my privilege to have health insurance and access to life saving testing.

Our IHP volunteers and providers facilitate access to a broader scope of healing modalities on an affordable sliding scale.

Valerie (she/her; pictured) is a Licensed Massage Therapist and new member of the CWHC community! She will be at CWHC in the 1st and 3rd Monday's of each month from 10-3pm offering a variety of massage services. You can book with Valerie as early as this coming Monday, March 20th!

Valerie provides care using the following modalities: Pre/post Natal Massage, Thai Massage (mat and table), Swedish/Relaxation Massage, Acupressure, Reflexology, Tuina, Shiatsu, Cupping, and Gua Sha.

Clients interested in learning more about the Sliding Scale for these services and/or who want to book an appointment with Valerie can call CWHC at 773-935-6126.
