💡 Engagement drives Outcomes

Through the Community Engagement for Early Recognition and Immediate Action in Stroke (CEERIAS) initiative, ATW Health Solutions worked hand-in-hand with Chicago’s South and West Side residents to activate trusted community voices and improve outcomes for Black and Brown stroke survivors.

Our Engagement Science approach combined data, education, and lived experience — training “Stroke Promoters” to lead outreach, spread awareness of stroke warning signs, and encourage early 911 calls.

The result? Stronger community partnerships, faster emergency response, and greater trust in healthcare systems.
