Hello! My name is Nina Puangtip Malichanh. I am 25 years old and graduated with a degree in International Business from Hawaii Pacific University. Recently, I was crowned to represent my beautiful country, Laos, in The Miss Globe Pageant 2023. The Miss Globe is a fantastic platform open to contestants from across the globe, aged 17 to 28. Women worldwide gather together in sisterhood to celebrate diversity, empowerment, health, intelligence, and beauty.
I am excited to announce that we will be launching a new foundation known as the Lao Thai American Dream Foundation. We will be building a school in Laos for children and young adults to receive an education. Our mission is to provide children with enhanced educational opportunities, equipping them with essential skills and certifications to prepare them effectively for careers in manufacturing.
The foundation is dedicated to promoting excellence in education, catalyzing job creation within Laos and Thailand, and serving as a conduit for a brighter and more prosperous future. Our commitment to this endeavor is driven by the aspiration to inspire positive change and empower youth to reach new heights of success.
The Miss Globe provides an opportunity for candidates to gain essential life skills such as confidence in front of a live audience and a growing sense of self-esteem. Contestants are rewarded for the courage, elegance, and poise they display and are also encouraged to further their education, participate in fundraisers, and continue volunteer service. Delegates make lifelong friendships, empower one another, and become role models for future generations.
This international-based pageant will be held from November 03, 2023, through November 18, 2023, in Tirana, Albania.
I participated in the Miss International pageant last year, and this is another chance for me. I am honored to be the first delegate representing the Lao community. I am excited to start this journey and be a part of this amazing organization and start a new foundation. Participation in such an event can be costly.
