It’s 530am, nice and quiet, perfect for some reflection. I’m full of Gratitude that I’m free today. I’m walking the same streets and the waterfront where I was an insane drug addict for years. I’ve literally experienced two lives, active addiction and then my recovery, the Greatest thing that’s happened to me! I’ve been able to do a lot of things, accomplish some big goals in recovery, but nothing gives me a sense of purpose and satisfaction as when I’m sharing my story, sharing hope with another who’s suffering. There’s life after he**in addiction, alcoholism, whatever self-imposed prison you’re in!
I was walking past the Custom House Marriott, the doorman said, “good morning sir” to which I replied “good morning, you might find this hard to believe, but I used to shoot he**in evey morning in the bathroom in this joint, but that was another life, I’m a free man today.” He replied, “Amazing sir.”
Amen brother, amen.

"It is okay to feel more Joy than the people around you.
It is one of the greatest gifts we can give. They need
our Joy, not our sadness."

"Joy is not in things; it is in us."

Our Story

Our structure has been designed to assist, rather than prevent you from taking full advantage of any Recovery Plan you are following. This means that our house rules (such as your curfew or your mandatory participation in our Wednesday meetings) will be flexible to accommodate your Intensive Outpatient, support group, therapy and any other recovery or wellness related group or treatment you are attending. You will never have more than one roommate in any of our recovery homes. While many other halfway houses and sober living homes will put you with 2 or even 3 roommates, we feel strongly that early sobriety is difficult enough without having the kind of disruption to your relaxation and sleep schedule that comes with a crowded bedroom.
