Part of Sinai Health System, Schwab Rehabilitation Hospital offers a three-year residency program in the field of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation. Residents gain exposure to the full spectrum of rehabilitation health care, from spinal cord injuries to stroke, orthopedic and amputation rehabilitation. Program Highlights PGY II:

Program Highlights PGY III:
- Multifaceted Community-Based Experience at NorthShore Evanston Hospital, which includes Inpatient Rehabilitation, Consults, and Clinics (e.g. Lymphedema, Musculoskeletal) (10 weeks)
- Musculoskeletal and Sports Medicine at the University of Illinois Sports Medicine Clinic at the University of Illinois Medical Center(10 weeks)
- Interventional Pain Management at the University of Chicago, Department of Anesthesiology (5 weeks)
- Elmhurst Hospital Pain Clinic (5 weeks)
- Electrodiagnosis at Schwab Rehabilitation Hospital, UIC Medical Center, and private practice clinics (10 weeks)
- Inpatient Rehabilitation Consults at the University of Chicago Hospital and at Mt. Sinai Hospital (10 weeks)
Program Highlights PGY IV:
- Practicum at Schwab (Junior Attending at Schwab and community subacute experience) (10 weeks)
- Pediatric rehabilitation at Shriners Children's Hospital (8 weeks)
- Electrodiagnosis at Schwab Rehabilitation Hospital, UIC Medical Center and Clinics. Includes Neuromuscular Clinic (10 weeks)
- Inpatient Rehabilitation Consults at Mount Sinai Hospital (10 weeks)
- PT/OT/ Prosthetics and Orthotics (4 weeks)
- Choice of Electives (8 weeks)
