Dr. Sarena Sawlani is a leader in the treatment of Allergy and Asthma. She completed her medical school at the University of Missouri Kansas City School of Medicine. She then went on to complete her internship and residency in Internal Medicine at Case Western Reserve University and University Hospitals in Ohio. She then completed an advanced Allergy and Immunology training Washington University in St. She later joined as a faculty member at the Lahey Clinic Medical Center as well associate professor of Allergy and Immunology at Tufts School of Medicine in Boston, MA. Dr. Sarena Sawlani currently practices allergy and asthma in Chicago, IL. Her office is located at the Presence Resurrection Medical Center Outpatient Professional Building. She is an active member of the American College or Allergy, Asthma, and Immunology. She has given presentations at national meetings and also participates in local chapter meetings in Chicago. Dr. Sarena Sawlani serves patients in the Chicagoland area including Park Ridge, Elk Grove, Skokie, Elmhurst, and more. When she is not taking care of patients, Dr. Sarena Sawlani enjoys spending time with her family and children. She likes to play tennis and travel when possible.

On Sept. 22, the autumnal equinox happens, which signals the start of fall in the Northern Hemisphere. This happens at a precise moment each September, typically on the 22nd or 23rd, when the sun is directly above the equator. In many areas of the Northern Hemisphere, the landscape begins to silently explode with vibrant colors of red, yellow, and orange. The leaves begin to drop off the trees, providing endless hours of jumping into leaf piles for kids, and raking up for parents! Fall is synonymous with a lot of things. Happy Labor Day weekend! This Monday, September 1st , is when we celebrate American workers. Labor Day weekend also symbolizes the unofficial end of summer for many Americans and students head back to school. Labor Day is usually celebrated with parties, barbecues & parades.
September is also the beginning of fall allergy & asthma season. Know your triggers, watch for signs & symptoms of an allergy or asthma event, and make an appointment to come see us.
