🌺A special preview of the upcoming 3-part Body Mandala Series with Kathryn Norris 🌺
In this 90-minute class, we’ll explore the hips as a mandala—a dynamic center of sensation, stability, and fluidity that shapes how we move, stand, and feel. Guided by the principles of Yin yoga, functional anatomy, and somatic awareness, you’ll be invited to explore five key myofascial groups of the hips through floor-based shapes that support ease, adaptability, and internal clarity.
This experiential approach fosters spaciousness and mobility in the hips—qualities that benefit all movement practices, from vinyasa and strength training to walking and daily living. It’s an ideal complement to more active modalities, offering time to feel how your structure moves, holds, and lets go.
Props and variations will be offered throughout, encouraging you to discover the shape that suits your body—not the other way around. No prior experience with yoga or somatics is needed—this is a space to slow down, reconnect, and move with care.
What to expect:
– Yin postures targeting five myofascial groups of the hips
– Somatic techniques to foster sensory clarity and internal awareness
– Functional movement insights to support a wide range of practices
– A preview of Kathryn’s Body Mandala series, blending Yin, anatomy, and somatic exploration
All bodies and experience levels are welcome.
Space is limited—reserve your spot in advance.
