Dry-fire is not inherently safe but it can be done safely. Practice should be done in the form of a ritual. Learn how you can safely dry-fire at home.

Hello and Welcome to Valor Self Defense!

I'm Rob, a USCCA certified instructor with 15 years of shooting experience, including semi-automatic handguns, revolvers, shotguns and AR-15 style platforms.

My goal is to share my enthusiasm for the process of self defense before, during and after an altercation. But most importantly, Valor Self Defense and USCCA advocates for CONFLICT AVOIDANCE AT ALL COSTS!

I spent my entire elementary and high school education in military school which is where it all started for me. I opted not to go the military, but my tactics and skillS learned during time spent in law enforcement and federal security have never left me and I get excited about paying it forward!
