Our Central Chapel family is mourning the tragic death of Maryanne Kincaid. Maryanne owned her own business for many years and worked for decades as a mortuary beautician at several funeral homes. Maryanne was kind, fun, and diligent. She worked hard to make sure that the loved ones of our client families looked just right. She was the life of our annual Christmas party. Maryanne was the widow of Bob Kincaid, a longtime Chicago funeral director, whose career was most notably spent with Blake-Lamb Funeral Homes, when it was owned by the Lamb Family. There were directors at Blake-Lamb who managed specific locations. Bob was the manager of the professional care department. He was in charge of the preparation of loved ones when Blake-Lamb had five, nine, and more locations. Maryanne also survived the death of Guy Norman, an incredibly nice man who was her companion for years. Our hearts go out to Maryanne's beloved daughter, Cory. Maryanne was our good friend, whom we will sorely miss.
A Celebration of Life gathering will be held at CENTRAL CHAPEL FUNERAL HOME, 6158 S. Central Ave., Chicago, IL, on Saturday, April 18, 2026, from 3 to 8 p.m., with a Memorial Service beginning at 7:30 p.m.
