Pain medicine isn’t declining—but training is shifting. 💡

As Dr. Scott Pritzlaff notes, nearly one-third of pain fellowship programs have gone unfilled in recent years, driven in part by a >60% drop in anesthesiology applicants.

At the same time, demand for neuromodulation continues to grow. 📈

“This is not retreat—it’s recalibration.”
