This year we have 35 runners dedicating their participation in the Chicago Marathon to supporting CWHC! As we inch closer to October, Team CWHC members begin to close in on their fundraising goals. You too can support CWHC by contributing to our team's fundraising goal!

This Fall, CWHC is launching a consultation group for new counselors and therapists!

This monthly group is for early-career clinicians who want to learn about feminist-relational approaches to therapy while building a supportive professional community.

When: 2nd Friday of each month from 10am –12pm, October 2025 – June 2026

Where: In-person at CWHC with hybrid options available

Cost: $750. Sliding scale rates and payment plans are available. Further discounted solidarity rates are available for trans and/or BIPOC clinicians.

Who: Recent graduates of MSW, Counseling, MFT, PsyD, and related programs.

Join CWHC and support client access to alternative healing modalities like acupuncture, massage, nutrition counseling, and pelvic floor physical therapy! We are hiring a Part-Time Integrative Health Program (IHP) Coordinator.

The IHP Coordinator facilitates Integrated Health services offered, making complementary health modalities accessible to CWHC clients and community members. This role manages the program schedule, maintains provider and volunteer relationships, leads onboarding, manages policies and procedures, oversees the program budget, and maintains contracts for IHP providers.

This role contributes to CWHC’s compassionate, affirming, and collaborative care by supporting the administrative needs of clinic-based programming. The Clinical Services Administrator’s responsibilities will include supporting clients and providers through payment processes and coordinating safety protocols.

CWHC is seeking like-valued individuals to join a dynamic group of Board members in supporting comprehensive health care and health education for thousands of women, trans people, and young people. Does this sound like you or someone you know? We encourage you to apply or share this opportunity far and wide!

Members of the Board of Directors provide financial support and oversight in addition to advocacy on behalf of CWHC. Our Board members bring important perspectives to our organization, helping to widen conversations and contribute individual skills to strengthen CWHC’s capacity and further our goals. CWHC's Counseling Program provides zero-cost letters of support for gender-affirming surgery / gender-affirming care. If your gender-affirming care provider requires a letter of support from a mental health professional, you can meet with one of our counselors and receive a letter of support for free. Your counselor will write the letter during the session with you, and you will be able to give feedback on the language used to refer to you and your experience.

Regardless of whether or not you have insurance, and even if you are not a current client with us, this service will always be completely free of charge.

There is still time to join CWHC's Summer Intuitive Eating Counseling Group!

This group is designed to help individuals develop a balanced relationship with food, body, and mind by reconnecting with their internal hunger and fullness cues. Using the principles of Intuitive Eating, members will develop skills to eat based on physical hunger and satisfaction, while rejecting diet culture and food guilt.

This opportunity now will take place on Wednesday evenings from 6pm to 7:30pm CT each week from July 9th through September 10th. Sessions will be held virtually via Zoom.

The group will consist of two cofacilitators including a Nutrition Counselor and CWHC Counselor. Participants can pay using insurance or our sliding scale. The sliding scale for this opportunity is $75 - $15, with no one turned away based on their ability to pay.
