Life at Eden Supportive Living has been full of fun, connection, and unforgettable moments ❤️

From a trip to Golden Corral and a beautiful performance by St. Mary’s Children’s Choir, to coming together for the Super Bowl, every moment has been about community.

We explored and learned at the Museum of Science & Industry and the Field Museum, and celebrated love and friendship at our Valentine’s Party with a chocolate-covered strawberries social 🍓

Here’s to the memories we’ve made—and many more to come this year!

Cooks are responsible for executing the café meals throughout the day by assisting the Dietary
Director in the preparation and service of quality and nutritious meals and snacks for the
residents.

Minimum Qualifications:
-High-energy, positive attitude
-High school diploma or GED; basic reading, writing and math skills in order to accurately read
menus, recipes, instruction manuals, invoices and delivery notices
-Formal training in food preparation and/or on-the job training as a cook, with excellent food
preparation and presentation skills
-Ability to work efficiently and to lead others under time pressure and during
-Excellent interpersonal skills and customer service attitude
-Current sanitation certification, or ability to obtain within 30 days of hire

Food Services Assistants are responsible for assisting the Dietary Director and Cooks in maintaining a
clean kitchen area and in serving meals and bussing tables in the facility café. Because Food Service
Assistants are always in contact with residents and families, this position requires tact, sensitivity and
professionalism.

Minimum Qualifications:
-High-energy, positive attitude
-Ability to work well under pressure
-Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, including ability to understand and follow multi-
step oral and written directions, and to write complete and correct meal order tickets
-Ability to establish and maintain cooperative and effective working relationships
-Exceptional customer service skills
-Knowledge of proper methods of storing equipment, materials and supplies as well as sanitation and
safety practices related to cooking and serving food
-Must be able to stand, bend, reach, lift and walk for extended periods of time
-Must be able to push and move objects weighing up to 50 pounds

The Nursing Assistant performs resident care duties, including taking/recording vital signs, assistance with activities of daily living, medication reminders and restorative services. CNA will be reporting to Wellness Director/ Wellness Coordinator.

Minimum Qualifications:
Current Illinois certification as a nursing assistant plus high school diploma or equivalent
Ability to communicate in English orally and in writing; basic math skills
Computer literacy, with ability to quickly learn and use Eden database and e-mail systems
Ability to work well under pressure and perform a variety of tasks on short notice
High-energy, positive teamwork attitude, with outstanding interpersonal and customer service skills
Ability to maintain standards of confidentiality
Must be absolutely trustworthy to work alone and to be self-motivated and organized.
