Most athletes don’t need more options, they need the right kind of support at the right time.

Some people I coach only digitally. They’re healthy, consistent, and just need structure and a second set of eyes to keep things sharp.

Others see me in person and get digital support. That’s where we fine-tune training for recovery, rehab, and performance from all angles.

My job is to figure out where you are at and build something that realistic, fits your lifestyles, and pushes you closer to your goals.

How I see it, most are just getting a good sweat and hoping for the best. 

It’s all about staying healthy during heavy training, showing up strong on competition days, and navigating the ups and downs of life.

Nashville Fall Open in the books. Such a blast to compete with so many of my teammates.

Thank you to my professors and for all the support, smashes, and leadership in prep for this competition.

So proud of all of the kids who competed this weekend too! It’s a blast working with them every day and watching them develop on and off the mats.

There is a lot of physical and mental work that goes into preparing for competition and showcasing PURE jiujitsu.

Do you struggle to find the time to train as much as you would like to?

Orient yourself around these three habits, to get more time on the mat.

1. Make a Plan for the Week: Instead of squeezing in some jiu-jitsu whenever you find time, prioritize your training by planning your week. Reassess your habits and routines to find pockets of time. This will help you identify "dead space" in your week where you can swap less productive activities for BJJ classes.

2. Make Changes Gradually: Old habits die hard, so make changes slowly. Whether it's restructuring your diet, attending more classes, waking up earlier, or starting a strength training program, add new elements to your routine gradually. This ensures your body can adapt and recover, preventing overload and performance degradation.

3. Ask Someone to Hold You Accountable: Accountability is key for lasting habit changes. Partner with a training buddy, a spouse, or hire a coach to keep you on track. Communicate your goals and track your progress to make your objectives tangible. This not only helps you stay consistent but might even inspire others to set their own goals.
